It is either supportive or not

It either moves you toward your desired goals and dreams

Menus of Choice

When we go to a restaurant one of the first things that happens after we sit down – or drive up to the window – we look at a menu.

When we review this menu – we make choices. We choose what we would like to have from the menu. Yes we choose. Sometimes we even already have in mind what we are going to choose.

When I see something I don’t like I don’t say – “Oh well, look what’s on the menu – I guess I have to have _________, since its here.”

No! I simply don’t order it. I don’t like olives. If I see a meal I like but it comes with olives I don’t say, “Oh great – it comes with olives. I guess I’ll have to have olives.” I put in my order and tell them to NOT put in the olives.

There is another menu that we choose from every day – It is actually handed to us each and every brand new day. The menu called Life.

If we see something on there we dislike, we can send it back, Ha-ha. Well, I know it is not that simple, but we do get to do a lot of choosing every day.

We choose what we will do with little spaces of time. What kind of perspective we will take. We choose what kind of attitude we will have. What kind of words we will speak. What kind of thoughts we will think!

Thoughts are triggers, like a transmitter that activate power.

Dueteronomy 30:19 says there is death and cursing power and life and blessing power. You gotta choose.

The Coulee Dam produces energy for the Northwest Region. The dam is a wall of concrete. The dam is extremely strong. However, the water behind the dam needs a connector to take the potential power available and put it to constructive use. The power is transmitted through little wires that make the whole operation work.

There is a powerful river in you – like a power plant.

That is like our thoughts. They produce energy. The thoughts and beliefs that you carry produce an energy around you. People perceive and react to it.

Words are energy and energy affects matter. Just like the energy of your microwave vibrates the water molecules and heats the water, our words are energy and they affect the matter in your life.

Since from our thoughts we produce words it is important what we think.

Proverbs 23:7 As a mans thinks in his heart so is he.
